X2 mine shuts off when hooked up to a trailer.

Like said above when you shift to reverse, there should be a message on info center, press up or down arrow to highlight "back up sensor" On or off.

Thanks, got it. With Tow Haul button pressed it won't beep. also, I also noticed with tow haul button pressed the engine will help with breaking, or did I imagine it? With that said, do I really need to press the tow button pulling a 5x10 trailer with just a 4wheeler?

I would say you don't, cause you don't need tow/haul on level ground or thats what the info center says. You can name your trailers and the truck will reconize them when you hook up and keep towing milage and brake gains. Pretty cool

Do you have the Nav system? I have searched and searched for a way to shut mine off when the tail gate is dropped without success. Guess I need to look in the pwners manual.

While the beeper is beeping, look at the display between the two large gauges (Tach and Speedo). Use the left, right,up,down navigation wheel on the left side of your steering wheel to hi-lite, NO, and press enter (center of the nav wheel).

You can lower the tailgate, connect a trailer without plugging in the wires or back up close to something to get the warning beeper beeping when the truck is running and reverse is selected. If you plug in a trailer wiring plug, the beeper does not sound in reverse because the truck knows something is back there since the trailer wiring is being used.

Hope that helps Air Force and many, many THANKS for your service!!!
