2012 Shootout?
Gents,
Over a Pickuptrucks.com they have a great shootout of the 2011 diesels SRW and DRW. It came down to the F250 and Chevy 2500. This was done before the mid year update that brought up the Fords numbers. If you have read this report you will see that the F250 was less than a second slower than the Duramax. They noted wheel hopping due to the traction control. 1. Has anyone seen a shootout like this with the 2012 models. 2. Does anyone know if Ford revised the traction control system in the 2012 models? Thanks |

1. No and it doesn't matter. Those tests will be biased no matter who does them, I don't care what anyone says. Buy what you like and drive it. Stop worrying about some lame bs tests that don't mean **** anyway.
2. No clue. I know that my Ford will pull harder, better, and drive more comfortable towing that either of my duramax's did. It is a truck, meant to tow, throw **** in the bed, get dirty, etc. Does it really matter if it is less than a second slower? Honestly? |
