First regen at 193 miles
Is this normal? The lie ometer was at 20.5 when the Cleaning Exhaust Filter came on. Only reason I looked at the information center was the truck lost power an sputtered. Took the lie ometer down to 13.9 avg. Now it's going back up at 230 miles.

Yeah, when my truck was stock I would get a regen every 200-250 miles or so. Usually always twice in one tank of diesel. Just depends on your driving habits and whether you regularly pull things. The harder the engine works and the higher the EGT's, the more often it will do a "passive" regen, the more in town stop and go driving you do, unloaded, the more often you will get "active" regens, which is when your truck actually goes into cleaning the exhaust filter mode.

Yep, 32k miles on mine and it regens every 200 miles. It cost you about 1 mpg.

The mileage part is normal but the loss of power and sputtering is not.

I always assumed the loss of power was normal because we have 4 work trucks all 6.4 and you can tell when they kick into "Cleaning Exhaust Filter" before it ever shows up on the screen because the engine noise changes and theres a noticeable change in power. So when that happens I look down to the screen and in about 2 seconds it will change to Cleaning Exhaust Filter. Should I be called Ford because all 4 trucks definitely lose power during the Regens. Also my personal truck seems to lose power as well during Regens.
