6.7 how many production years

Just out of curiosity does anyone know how long the 6.7 will be in production for (like how the 6.4 was only made for 3 years) I know that's because ford and international parted ways. I'm not hoping for ford to make something new as the 6.7 is a great engine just curious that's all

If the 6.6 remaing troublefree they will run it for a while It takes time to recoup the R&D dollars spent to develop an all new in house engine.

No one probably knows except the engineers and designers at Ford. The 6.7's were being tested in Superduty trucks well before their introduction in 2010 for the 2011 models.

as long as it turns out to be a decent platform they will run them for awhile , only they know when , as far as we know , they could actually have something else they are working on

I think the 6.4 is still made, just not put in fords any more.

Ya the 6.4 is still made its called maxxforce 7 or something I think they use it in international buses
