Ticking noise after recall performed

Left the dealer after oil change and recall for no2. Strange ticking noise coming from somewhere near the fuel filter under the hood. Back at the dealer now. Will keep you posted. Anyone else have this happen after recall notice performed?

I haven't had this same problem. I have heard of people saying that the fuel filter isnt getting a good seal. So if they replaced the fuel filter try haveing them put a new one in. Hope this helps

Lots of people has had the ticking noise after an oil change me included. Seems that most seem to clear up after a couple hundred miles after the change.

I just did the reflash and oil change at the same time. Mine is making the ticking sound as well. My shifts haven't really improved and the tranny makes a clunking noise sometimes from the 5-6 shift as I let off the gas. I'm a die hard Ford guy (99' 7.3, 2000 7.3, 05 6.0, 11 f350 dually and 11 f250 )that switched over to a gmc duramax dually in 08 cause of the poor mileage on the 6.4. I love my truck but I miss the duramax /Allison combo.
