Truck dies after hitting 100mph

My truck has the H&S black max stageII afe and 4" flo pro and I just had the update on the tuner last week. I was going down the freeway and decided to get on it got to 100mph the truck had a slight jerk and died. I pulled over turned the key off and then tried to start the truck it fierd up and ran fine. I removed the speed limiter when I installed it so I dont know why it would have done that.

Has this happened to any one else?

Keep her under 100 I'm not sure why it's doing that.

Mine didn't die, it was more like it just stopped gaining any more speed.

Mine hit 136mph with no problems

Not gonna lie 136 would be scary in a 8k truck

I suppose mine would to I've only done it once but 100 mph is exactly 3k rpm.
