Anyone Destroke a new 6.7 truck yet?

Not trying to start a war but I talked to Destroked about it. They haven't done one yet but they say the majority of it is the same as the 6.4 trucks. I just don't see me keeping this thing around once the warranty is up with the Ford made engine. I couldn't afford the upkeep. I've got a p pumped 12 valve that needs freshened up but it would be a prime candidate for this truck.

I like the body, frame and interior of the Ford. After seeing it stripped down to the frame for an engine swap under warranty, I gotta say it is one hell of a frame! Everything on it seems to be built well and fairly easy to service (except the engine).

Is anyone else thinking about going this route or have info from a previous Cummins Swap?

No idea, but I just looked at destroked's website and the picture of the 6-liter on the homepage is hilarious

Having driven and owned a ppumped 24v, there's no ****ing way I'd ever put something that old in this truck. No where near the response, smoothness, quietness, or drive ability.

Why wouldn't you keep a Ford made engine in it? The upkeep? That doesn't make sense, especially with the truck so expensive in the first place.

Why? The 6.7 isn't a 6.0

That truck on their webpage is actually a 6.4 2008+



look at the rear bumper,tailgate,fender badges... If they wanted to diss the 6oh they could have atleast researched what it looks like
