What Oil is everybody running??

Well its time for my 2nd oil change. I has the first one done at the dealership which was FREE since I bought the truck there. Its ready again though and there is NO WAY im paying the dealership to change my oil their prices are CRAZY but anyway I wanted to ask what type oil is everybody running. Did anybody change or just keep using the same motorcraft oil that came stock with the truck? Thanks for the help guys.

Good looking truck Cody..After my first free dealership change, I went to Mobile 1 Delvac 5-40 synthetic...5-40 is probably overkill for me, as the winters aren't that bad here in Texas, and I don't tow much, but I put a fair amount of miles on the truck, and I figure its worth the piece of mind to use the "extreme conditions" oil weight. Thought about switching to 15-40, since its a little cheaper..i guess the only think i would be giving up is extreme cold protection, which again, we don't really get much of in Texas...good luck with your search.

Our winters get to -35 to -45 C and our summers get to +35 C and the dealer I go to puts in 5W40 Mobil 1 Delvac year round when you request synthetic.

Motorcraft does not produce its own oil I don't recall who bottles it for Ford.
