Loud Hummm
Thought maybe I should share,, My truck gradually developed a hummm, kinda like an electric motor, Heard it from cab and from outside but could not place where it was coming from. Noticed it for about a week, 2,000 miles. This past weekend got the message for "Fuel Filter Change" (19,686 Miles)
After changing filters, the hummm is gone. May want to keep this in mind in case you start hearing this yourself. |

Maybe clogged filters were putting a strain on the fuel system???

Yes, That's what I'm thinking as well. Just wanted to let everyone know so they would be aware in case their's started doing this.
May be worth taking a moment to simply listen. It was a steady moan once the engine was running, did not change with RPMs, or noticeable before engine running. |

Mine is also doing this except on mine I only notice it when I first start the truck after it has been sitting and cooled off and when I start driving it seems to go away or I don't hear it over everything else and mine started after changing my fuel filter but I didn't wait til light came on to change changed before hand and the loaner they gave me was identical to my truck I heard it on it then when I went to pick mine up I heard it
