First oil change
Did the first oil change today. I decided to wait out the oil life monitor, 7100 miles it finally popped. My grandpa thinks I'm high as a kite and I should have changed it twice already. Of course I poured a little oil on the engine because I have gorilla hands and of course I was paranoid when I saw that same oil on the driveway right underneath. This is the first vehicle that Ive done my own maintenance with. Doesn't make sense to me to to pay someone for something so easy. Other than scratching my hands and arms up trying to wipe the engine dry it went very well. Wanted to say thanks to everyone for the information that you post here, it really makes this thing fun to work on.
