Aftermarket Wastegate

So the talk is that the strange noise coming from the exhaust after letting off the gas abruptly is from the wastegate... Can't seem to figure in my head why it sounds so strange, but I think it sounds terrible. Does anyone have any insight into why the wastegate does this or if it is possible to either modify the system to stop making the noise or if an aftermarket wastegate is in the works? Just wondering. This is the one thing keeping me from an exhaust/tune.

Its not the waste gate it's the vanes in the VGT that make the sound. You can tune it out but it will severely affect drivability. No after market wastgates either. It's built into the unique exhaust turbine housing.

Oh so I was mistaken about the wastegate. Mods may want to delete this thread as it may cause confusion. Thanks for the info on the vanes.
