100k motor warranty??

I was just looking over the window sticker of the truck i am going to pick up on sat. and noticed that it says 3yr/36k bumper to bumper, 5yr/60k powertrain, but nothing about the motor?? I know the diesels have always been 5yr/100k, has this changed?? I don't know why ford doesn't cover they powertrain for 100k like dodge & chevy??

Looking forward to the new truck!

They still have the 5 year / 100K. It a supplement that comes with the 6.7L PS manual. Its kinda strange like Ford sold you the truck with a gas motor and change it out to a 6.7L diesel. You will see when you get the owners pack.

2006f350, not that I pay attention all the time but the link you provided shows that the warranty for 100k is for a 6.4. My dealer told me 5/50 is all that Ferd is giving....................Maybe I should look into this more?

My Dodges were all 7/100, whats up with that? I'm going to call my dealer on Monday and get the scoop. On Fords website they show a 5/100 for "Powerstrokes" but directly under that they break it down to a 6.4. Have they learned their lesson and realized early that there is no way they can warranty these engines for that kind of mileage because they don't hold up? Does anyone else on here have solid info on the ACTUAL warranty for these 6.7's?

In your owners pack there is the warranty info that states that the 6.7L has a 5 year 100k Warranty.
Here is the ACTUAL warranty info. See Page 8 and bottom page 11 #4.

Picked truck up on saturday, and yes it is still 5 year/100k, now if they would just do the same for the tranny!

I absolutely love this truck so far! Way better than my 6.4!!
