Truck pulls

Has anyone entered there truck in the truck pulls? Think about doing it this spring.
Do you run 4 x 4 high and 2nd gear? Also do you use the Electric locking diff?

I did it last year with my rig. 4x4 high second gear is what I used although I will probably use low next time. It was fun. 272 feet I think.

I heard of a guy running 4x4 hi and ruined his transmission. But not a sled puller here..
