Aftermarket gas tank and computer

Going to put the Transfer Flow tank on my truck.
Anyone know if you can reprogram the computers and tell it you have a 50 gallon tank instead of a 26 gallon?
Does the Distance To Empty computer adjust??

I am not aware of any programming to the stock comp to adjust for the addition of a transfer tank. Transfer Flow has their TraxII, setup with will display total gallons onboard.

It goes without saying, you should check with your dealership to see if their will be any warranty concerns regarding the installation of these tanks, and how they are plumbed and wired up.

Sorry, I wasn't clear.
I am installing an OEM replacement tank, not a true transfer tank from the bed into the tank.
Just swapping out the smaller tank under the bed with one that has more capacity.
