Why??? Anyone knows???

Ok this is bugging ta crap out ta me!! Why(sometimes) does my horn chirp every few seconds when i use my remote start?It stop chirping when I unlock the doors ....but I like to keep it lock when the truck is running!!!and I'm not in it!!
But it doesn't happen everytime I use it!! Any ideas??

Never had it happen to me but when I get my truck back im going to try to make it do that and see if I can help you out.

Just me??? WTH!
I'm thinking may be the distance is too far between you and the truck when the remote start is activated and its warning you in case it's an accidental activation! IDK !

Do you have the ford unit or the 2-way with a separate remote from the key?

Oh.. I also have the factory one that's part of the ignition key. Sorry I haven't experienced that problem. It seems real weird that its not consistent.

Sounds like a futuristic warning/alarm system off of a high tech prototype that was accidentially installed in your truck... you are just lucky...

But seroiusly....try the remote start @ about 200 ft away or as far as you can and see what it does!!

I have remote started in excess of 200 feet w/o anything going on other than the truck starting and the ac kicking real good...
