does dealer update trucks on the lot

I was wondering if there is a tsb out does the dealer flash the pcm of the trucks on the lot or do they wait to see if there is a problem? Reason im asking my cousin bought a 350 about 3weeks ago and he said the truck seems to have a problem deciding what gear to be in while driving at a slow steady speed. And I believe the flash I had that came out in april will help him. Thanks

He needs to take the Truck in and let them Run the Vin Number to see if all the up-dates have been Installed My Guess....Most dealers don't even Know there are Problems LOL

When a new one comes out, the dealer is supposed to. Wether they do or not is a different story.
