Ford Just called...

So disappointed! the 2011 I ordered can not be built due to a shortage of navigation systems. I'm going to spend 55k on a new truck and they cant tell me when they will get more navi could be up to 6 months so I was told. I don't get how one of the worlds largest car manufacturers cant give me a solid date on when they will get a navi system.

Good thing im a ford lover and will hold out until ford gets there systems in.

I wonder if the Nav units are made in Japan? Maybe they are waiting 6 months so the Nav units stop glowing from the radiation?

I definitely don't want to wait 6 months for a new truck I was Hoping to take it on a few trips this summer. But according to my dealer he can't buy a parts navi and put into truck it won't work correctly.

Tell them to refund you your money for the Navi, take it to the local car audio shop, and have them install a Pioneer or Sony Navigation unit, and you'll probably have cash to spare on an H&S.

Either that, or tell them to keep the truck and make them get you a 2012.

We can't get fuel pumps for taurus's or F150's right now. Both are on back order. We have to put aftermarket ones in.
