Measurement Question

Howdy ya'll!

I'm buying a light bar from my buddy who had it on his 2008 SD and it was attached from outside frame rail to outside frame rail on the front end.

I'm still debatin on wheter to get a 2011 or a 08-10 but wanted to see if one of ya'll could get that measurement for me so I can see if it will bolt up on a 2011.

It is a little hard to measure but the best figure I could come up with is close to 38 and 3/4 inches outside of rail to outside of rail.
