"miles to empty" falling fast after intake installation

Installed an AFE Stage II CAI today. Immediately noticed the Miles to Empty dropping like crazy! was getting 13MPG before adding the intake. Now I'm getting 15.2MPG. BUT, In traveling approx. 11 miles I went from 236 miles to empty down to 212 miles! ! ! ! However, my gas gauge barely moved.

Any ideas how to remedy this one??

My miles to empty readout falls pretty fast like that too, especially during regens. I have noticed though, that it is FAR from accurate. Usually if I let mine go all the way to 0, I've usually only used 24 gallons of diesel. Look at it as more of a guide line, its based off what your avg mpg is on that same readout.
