How Do Tuners Get Away With Law?
If you have a new truck that has a DPF delete and tune and get busted I hear it is a major fine.
Why aren't the feds cracking down on the companies that make/support the tuners, straight pipes, etc? Personally, I think that the EPA is the biggest waste of time/money/resources ever created. I think we should be able to run whatever we want on our rigs! |

Um because the tuners sell them for OFFROAD USE ONLY......shame shame on anyone running them on the highway!

Before you buy a tuner you have to sign a disclosure guaranteeing that you will only use it for "Offroad Use". I am also verrry surprised that there's people out there who are not following these important rules. Double shame on everyone.
PS. The EPA and the CARB are a bunch of winers who want to piss in your cheerios and then make you eat them while you're forced to pay for them. |

Understood. I didn't realize that you must sign a disclaimer before purchasing these products. The legality issues are removed from the vendor that way. Thanks for the clarification!
