How Do Tuners Get Away With Law?

If you have a new truck that has a DPF delete and tune and get busted I hear it is a major fine.

Why aren't the feds cracking down on the companies that make/support the tuners, straight pipes, etc?

Personally, I think that the EPA is the biggest waste of time/money/resources ever created. I think we should be able to run whatever we want on our rigs!

Um because the tuners sell them for OFFROAD USE ONLY......shame shame on anyone running them on the highway!

Before you buy a tuner you have to sign a disclosure guaranteeing that you will only use it for "Offroad Use". I am also verrry surprised that there's people out there who are not following these important rules. Double shame on everyone.

PS. The EPA and the CARB are a bunch of winers who want to piss in your cheerios and then make you eat them while you're forced to pay for them.

Understood. I didn't realize that you must sign a disclaimer before purchasing these products. The legality issues are removed from the vendor that way. Thanks for the clarification!
