Priced out new truck

I took a ride to the dealer this afternoon. Priced out a 2011 F-250 PSD SCSB navi 2tone all the goodies sticker was 55,295 giving it to me for 51,400-2,500 rebates= 48,900 they want to give me 22,000 for my 2007 F350 PSD 68k on the clock navi 2tone clean. Where should I go with this? 2k more on trade 1500 off new truck?

See if they'll bite on the 2k more on your trade, and definitely don't be afraid to walk away when they say no. They'll call you back, they always call back.

i dont think they came down nearly enough. i just got $700 below invoice (about 8% below msrp) then all rebates. i know a few people that bought, and got invoice give or take $500. i wouldndt buy it for more than $500 over invoice plus incentives on top of that....check out truecar.com as well. also isnt there a memorial day nationwide ford sale?

That's not near a good enough deal. I gave around $49700 for mine and sticker was just around $60,500. I don't remember exact numbers but it was almost $11,000 off.

Sticker on mine was $56300 and I paid $47000. I also got them to give me 2 years maintence on the truck. Then someone told that the dealership I went to was giving that to everyone who bought a new deisel that week. I dont care I'll take it.

Its always better to deal on the new truck then your trade in. Just because you got so much off sticker doesn't mean you didn't get hosed on your trade in. Go to kbb and she what your truck is worth and go from there. Just about anyone can buy a new truck for the dealers x plan price plus incentives.

That's pretty much what I got mine for, too (F350 Lariat Crew).

They should show you
