Clicking noise?

Within the past few days I have noticed a clicking noise coming from under the truck. I crawled under and it seems to be loudest where the oil drain plug is. Had my service shop change the oil earlier this week and I guess I noticed it after that. Any one else experience that or have any ideas what it could be?

Of course I may just have the local dealer check it out next week sometime.

Solenoids in the trans?

I haven't heard it yet on this truck, but I could hear it all the time "when I was listening for it" on my Dmax.

I hear noises when I turn the key to accessory waitng for the glow plug light to turn off. This is my first diesel so all these noises I hear are new to me. So if there good or bad I'm not sure, thats why I purchashed the extended warranty.

If it sounds like someone typing on a type writer it is considered a normal characteristic of the new engine block design.

I don't hear the noise all the time just when it has been running a while and I hop out when it is idleing. Heck it could be doing this all the time but I just noticed it last week.
