It varies from truck to truck, but roughly 8 to 9% off MSRP.

You can do much better than X Plan right now. I'm eligible for the X plan and it wasn't even close to the discount I got. I get the number through my employers web site, they have a link with all available discounts and they list the "partner code" for the x-plan.

True, I got "D" plan and it was a couple grand less than "X", but my brother-in-law works at the dealer.

You negotiate, where are you located? I got on the internet and started emailing, found the best price and that's where I purchased. I stopped wasting my time driving around to local dealers and spending hours and days playing their game years ago. Same thing with the extended warranty, got some advice on this forum a couple weeks ago and purchased the extended warranty for almost half of what they initially asked. I figured most had rather make a couple hundred off of the warranty than nothing. My buying experience was great, not one complaint, which says a lot when buying a new vehicle. There are a few great dealerships around that want to sell cars so I much prefer to buy from someone with excellent customer service and they gave me a great price right from the beginning.
