New member, 2011 6.7 FX4 Help!

Hey all,
New member here just saying hello! Been lurking around for a couple months as I wait to pounce on a new 6.7....looking at a new Red 6.7 Crew XLT with FX4 group and will be trading in my lifted 2004 150 with 5.4.

Really impressed with this new motor and super duty chassis!! The driving feel is so much lighter and seems so effortless compared to the 6.4 series....almost bought one of those, but chose to wait for the 6.7, glad I did!

What kind of deals have you guys gotten on similar setups?? This truck is stickered at about 9K off.

Trying to have a good idea of deal potential before walking back in with the fiancé tomorrow to try to work at deal. Thanks guys and gals!

I was on travel a couple weeks back in the Ft Worth area. Saw a commercial from a local dealer advertising 10k below MSRP. That's the best advertised price I've heard, so 9k is pretty good.

I'm in Dallas, TX. If you're close, Grapevine Ford will work you a great deal! 9.5k to 10.5k off depending on truck's msrp. I ordered my truck and I requested the Ford Super Duty brochure online. I ended up getting a $750 Private Cash from Ford. Some get it, some don't. I remember reading one post where a guy said you can order the Brochure online today and your rebate might post within a few days even though you haven't got the rebate in the mail. The dealership can look up your name and see if you were one of the lucky ones that got the rebate! The bad news is my rebate card has an expiration date of 4/10/2011. I'm not sure if they're still offering the rebate.

$10k off sticker should be the norm. I had to do some talkin to make it happen but I think that is what most people should strive for.
I have to agree with schillster1, the guys over at grapevine ford are really great. I didn't end up buying from them but he gave me a price for a truck that I found on their website for $10k off sticker..... this is the way I got my dealer (bill knight ford in Tulsa OK) to give me $10k off, I just told them that I would rather buy in town but if I had to drive to TX I would.
