20.5 mpg!

Well just got back from our spring break ski trip. Im happy to say i did get 20 mpg on the highway in my f350 KR cclb 4x4. I guess the 3.55s do help. I went from Fort Worth to Angilfire NM with a 20 mph head wind and got 17mpg. I was pleased with that considering the wind.On the way back we had a slight tail wind of five to ten mph and i got 20.5 mpg running 75-80 mph the whole way home. The 38 gallon tank also helped from not having to stop so much. Which was nice. I was very pleased with the 1200 mile round trip.

That's better than my 250 gets with 331s . Speed and wind kill my mileage.

I will have to post some! I use to build show trucks so thats why i have so many in my Sig! Ive had every diesel out but im loyal to Ford! I had a 08 Duramax that was ok but they are just not made to be lifted as i do with all my trucks. My 2011 should be getting a 2.5 or a 4.5 icon in the next few weeks. I had a 04 dodge 2500 that was the worst truck ive owned. 3 months into having that truck i ordered a 2004 f250 Harley Edition . 3 weeks before the truck arrived the Dodge got t-boned by a cement truck! That was the best thing that could have happened to that truck!

Thats bone stock with 2500 miles on it. The only thing ive done is change over to Amsoil 15-40 Oil and thats it. No BS either. That was hand calculated and it was almost dead on with the computer.
