Fluids

Just a quick note for people. Had the first oil change done today. It was done at an independant garage. (MY local dealer is less than incompetent). The dealer I bought from is about an hour away. Anyway, the Tranny fluid was down just over 2 Liters. ( 2 quarts). Just a heads up to check these things, I would have never guessed, as it is new.

Better keep an eye on that.

The garage did follow the procedure for checking the fluid right??? Engine at operating temp, trans at operating time, engine running???

Reason I ask is my poor grandpa overfilled the trans in his S10 by about 3 quarts because he was checking it wrong. hahaha!

Thanks for the info, I looked at 2011s yesterday and God I'd LOVE to buy one!

Guess I'll ride my 06 a few more years and see how the 6.7 pans out.
