Got my winch, I think I'm done now!

Finally got the winch installed last night, and I think I'm done with the truck (for now). I may end up swapping the 1.5" leveling kit for a 2.5 front lift to counteract the weight of the bumper and winch, but that will be in the future. Once I get my toolbox back from getting bedlined this week I'll be finished up.

Went with the Recon 17k set up, and got it for a phenomenal price. I wasnt going to get a Warn simply for the fact that I am barely ever going to use this, but I wanted to fill the hole in the bumper. The one thing that I dont like (but can easily deal with) on this winch is that you cannot move the solenoid box or the controls, but it fit perfectly even going horizontal. No clearance issues for reaching the clutch or plugging in the remote up. I guess I got lucky! I installed it facing down since that was the way it fit best. Just have to tie off the power cables and it will be 100%

Who knows, maybe if I get crazy one day I'll put a recon 10k winch in the back bumper. I'm also considering going back to the factory headlights. I'm thinking they may be just too much on the front end

Nice winch and setup all around...looking at those pictures made my neck hurt... giving me your dark headlights, instead of aspirin, would cure that pain...
