DEERS

Ran up on a large number of deer last night(too many to count)Iwas able to get my speed down to about 20 or so as the last of the group crossed paths with me. Evidence showed I hit one and killed the animal. The truck
suffered no damage.I credit this to my reduced speed and I believe the leveling kit and bull bar pushed the deer down and under the truck instead of the animal going into the grill or lights or on the hood.I hate to see this happen to innocent animals. On the lighter side I know a guy who hit a deer with his dodge,it was a mess, body parts everywhere. Headlights, grill, bumper, goathead, turnsignals

Wow - thank Ford that you're truck is alright.. and you too!

If they become too much of an issue I think you should get a HERD front end replacement; lots of semi owners have them just for this reason.

Almost hit one last night... Didn't swerve hard enough I guess.... I guess it's just quail for dinner tonight.

Been there done that! Hit a doe last fall, her head/neck hit left fog light, she swung around and hit back of wheel well, had to replace fender, bumper, fog light, running board and repaint door, $3600 worth.
