Supension noise

Does anyone else have a lot of noise from the front supension? It happens mostly when turning but I think I'm going to bring mine in. My 08 didn't do what my 11 is doing.

There is a TSB for this concern, the TSB is 10-25-3:

Some 2008-2011 F-Super Duty vehicles built on or before 11/15/2010 may exhibit a pop or clunk noise heard/felt under floor pan when turning, and may be more noticeable when cold.

It involves removing the body mount bolts on the affected side or sides, cleaning the threadlocker and re torquing, if that does not fix it then shimming the affected body mounts is required.

Thanks for the info. I will be bringing it in to be serviced. Kind of embarrassing when you have passengers with you in your new truck and it sounds like it is falling apart.

Anyone else having this problem recurrently?

Mine has been in twice already (for this, first time was because the steering wheel was off center on delivery). first time they retorqued the driver side only. Started again a few days later. Second trip to the shop they shimmed the driver side only, test drove it and no help. Ended up replacing the trackbar, said the bushing went out due to improper torque from factory.

Now about a week later, it seems to be starting again...

5 weeks and 4 trips to the shop is getting a bit frustrating...

BUMP

I have the same noise. My truck was re-shimmed and it continued making the bump as soon as I took it back, so it went in again for the noise.. they said they didnt hear it but again it made the noise as I drove away.

I put on a full suspension lift, so allot of parts were changed and yet it is still making the thump.

I was speaking with a friend and apparently there is a part that needs to be changed out but for whatever reason my dealer isnt letting out that information.

Anyone have info on this?
