08 exhaust tip vs 11 tip

My buddy came over with his 08 350 tonight. His tip is like 4-6" lower than my 2011. Is this normal due to different exhaust temps or is his bent? It doesn't appear bent or loose... Any thought?

Does he have a gooseneck hitch?

If it has the gooseneck hitch, most of them have a spacer to lower the exhaust so it clears the frame work of the hitch.

Thanks... That makes sense. To bad ford didn't make a different rear piece. I like the way it looks when it's hight and tight.
