a few questions for a first time ford owner.
#1
Does any one know what the max tire size for these trucks without a lift? I used to own a dodge and I knew of a guy that put 37" mud tires without a lift and there was no rubbing. I would like to put 35x12.50 on the stock rim, Possible? #2 This is the first ford I've owned, I have been told that you can use a lot of the same parts from older trucks to newer ones and vice versa (ie, tailgate, tailights, bed, door handles, etc). is this true? |

35x12.5s will fit and rub only very little, 37s are gonna need a lift. Dodges have a bit bigger wheel well on em than the Fords do. #2 Yes it's true, a lot of the actual hard parts have stayed the same for a while now. You'll want to watch your tailgate though, if you've got a new truck. A lot of the not so honest people out there with the older trucks will steal the new ones because they have Super Duty stamped into them. So lock your tailgate. |
