wrong message

Drove the truck for the first time in over a week,as soon as the truck started
its says 28 miles to empty, guage shows under a quarter,so off I go to fill up.
It takes 21 gallons(26 gallon tank). Also I notice the moniter is no longer
displaying what gear I'm in when shifter is in D. Before there was a column
of numbers 1 thru 6,and lit up which gear I was in. I tried a system reset
with no change. Anybody know anything about this

If you hit the manual gear selector once it should bring the gear indicator back up. As far as your fuel gage I have no clue.
