Made the deal today on my KR!

Well,

I finally decided to do it. I've been working with a guy for about a week now and finalized the deal today. I've searched around for about 200 miles of my home and it's the best deal I've found. It's a 2011 Bronze metallic King Ranch CC 4x4. It's loaded with Nav and sunroof. I think it has everything but the rapid cab heat. The MSRP on it was $63,695 and I ended up getting it for $53,999. That's if I take the Ford Financing. I'll most likely use my credit union on the deal however. I am getting a 3.5% rate through them. I take delivery of the truck on Friday. Im pretty excited about it. I was very unhappy with my 2008. I'm going to "try" to leave this one stock for a while. I've never been able to do it before, but I'm gonna try.

take the financing from ford and get the $1000 credit, then refinance with your credit union for lower rate. Thats what I did, I called ford finance and they said no penalty for paying off loan early.

X2... My dealer said you only have to have the loan with Ford credit for 30 days then refinance. This way you'll still get the $1,000.

Don't rule out Ford Finance. They came up with 3.9% for me. Definitely worth the $1K extra.

Congrats. I didn't limit myself to buying within 200 miles. Around hear (Alberta Canada) that truck lists out at about $83000.00 - and would sell for $66000.00. I bought mine 2600 miles from home and payed for it 2 months ago and still haven't arranged to fly across the continent to drive it home.
