what do you guys think about this?
I am in the process of buying a new 6.7 crew cab f350. My local dealer does not have the truck i want but can find me one. I say ok lets do it! So i wanted a crew cab F350 lariat with interior package. The dealer finds me one 140 miles away and gives me a copy of the window sticker. everything looks good on it lets do it so i signh papers last sat. on the truck. However they picked up the truck yesterday and i went down this morning to take a look at it.
Now from my 2011 superduty catalog i see that the standard seats are 40/console/40 in the lariat. I opened the door on the truck this morning and it has the split bench seat (which is an option in the catolog) Nowhere in the window sticker does it say it has the bench style optional seat! I am not happy with this deal I dont want bench seat. am I stuck with this truck because i signed papers? |

If you haven't taken possession of the truck yet then I'm sure you can get out of it. The papers can be dealt with and if you still plan on buying the truck you really want when you do find it then they should be more helpful. Dealer transfers are common, they shouldn't have pressured you to sign all the papers without even seeing it or at least getting pics.

the dealer called me today, they are going to look for another truck for me, they still are arguing the fact that the 40/20/40 are the standard seats that come in the lariat. I keep showing them the superduty catalog where it says lariats standard seat are the 40/console/40. Oh well it seems that they are trying to make it right

Its totally within your right to only accept the truck you want. Look at the money that truck costs. I don't care what you signed, if it's not what you said you wanted then tell them to stuff it.
Atleast they're trying to find another one. But I wouldn't put up with any back-talk about the seats. If they so much as muttered one more thing about the seats I'd walk the hell out. |

Dealer's in a week position when the advertising contradicts what they say.

In the upper right corner of the window sticker it says what the seating is.

Check the invoice you were given again, I believe they'll say Captain's chairs or something on the sticker.
