Question Odor after driving

Anybody notice an odor after driving? On a few occasions after driving 10-20 miles, I've noticed an oder lingering while walking along the passenger side. Kinda smells like burning rubber or like the smell of wire insulation when it gets hot. I crawled under the truck and inspected the exhaust, didnt see anything, and cannot pinpoint the source of the odor. Doesn't seem to do it all of the time, no loss in performance, etc. Seems to me that it might be the exhaust system getting "seasoned" but not sure, I'm close to 12k so all of the residue, etc. of the exhaust should be burned off by now. Anybody experience this?

It's probably cleaning the exhaust filter when you shut if off. It has a very distinct smell to it.

Thats why I use the restroom prior to getting in the truck. Rest stops work too. Showers are good if the smell is still there. Sorry. I couldn't resist.

I noticed it a few times. Smells like burnt rubber. My dad kinda looked at me one day when I met him in the mountains like "I know you wasn't burning those new tires!"
