Introduction

Evening everyone,

I just joined. I've got a 2011 F350 CCSB FX4 Tuxedo Black with Black interior. This is by far the best truck I've owned. My first Ford. I've had 3 Duramax's, a Suburban, a couple Half Ton Z-71's and 2 Infiniti QX56's. Havent done anything major other than the HID upgrade, 295 60 R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers and self installed Line-X. Just wanted to say hello.

Thank you guys. Just a little bit more info, I've got 17k miles on it already since Sept 2010 with zero issues. I've got the 400/800 reflash and the tranny reflash. Has any one else noticed(or it might a part of the latest reflash) my truck does an elevated idle when it's below 32F??

Mine does not have the 400/800 reflash, its a job 1 truck, and it also Idles around 1000 rpm when the temperature is low.. usually mine is when it's 20 F or colder.

Welcome. My truck will raise the idle up when it's below about 20, much different from my 08 though. It doesn't drop the idle back down when you hit the brake.

Depending on how cold it is, mine idle's around 1000 rpm for anywhere between 5 and 10 minutes before it finally drops down to 400ish. Something tells me here in about another month or so, I'm going to wish I wasn't one of the people in the 13 cold weather states who got screwed and did not get my standard block heater (not talking about the cord), the block heater isn't even there!
