Call me crazy but I traded...
Just traded a '10 F250 Lariat CC FX4 with 30,000 miles for a '11 F250 Lariat CC FX4 with 10 miles. The '10 was paid for and the trade difference was not to bad. There is no comparison between the two in my opinion. I love the '11.

I had to drive a 6.4 for a little while in between my 6.0 and this new one. I'd have done the same thing you did in your shoes.

Yes Fx4 is just skid plates and If you get it lifted they have to take them off anyway.
