For those of us who had a 6.4 and now 6.7

Do you miss your 6.4 at all??????? I haven't had much time to drive my new truck yet. I have had two almost three weeks and only have 350 miles on it. I know I miss the tune and smoke and my lift thats for sure

Maybe every now and then, but I'm really loving the new one, plus the fact that I don't have to worry about putting things back together for warranty work is really nice.

Yeah, i loved the looks of my 08 but ill tell you the extra interior comfort itmes is great, the silence of the motor, exhaust, and tires is great, and the mileage is much better.

I don't miss my 2008 6.4 4x4 Lariat Crew cab at all. The 2011 and the 6.7 blows it out of the water. Better economy, more power, quieter, seats feel better to me, yada yada. . .

avg 15.6 mpg city. Towing my 5th wheel 9-11 mpg depending on how big a hurry I'm in. My 5th wheel has a huge front cap that is not very aerodynamic. My 2008 6.4 got 12.x mpg in the city for comparison. The regen on the 6.7 is not noticeable to me. The message flashes and tells me it is working and I sometimes smell the new BBQ grill smell.

I'm having issues with a hop on my truck at 50mph but I only know of one other out of the thousands sold that is doing that. My dealer and Ford are addressing this. other than that, the truck rocks.

You will need to get 5 gallons of DEF between 4500-6000 miles. It's no big deal to fill the tank.

Fuel milage

2011 crew cab F250 331 locking rear end.
I am also getting around 15 to16 miles per gallon around town. I get about 12 miles per gallon pulling 4 horse trailer weighing 9000 pounds loaded. On the road empty the best I have gotten so far is 17 to 18. I love the truck and with the horsepower and torque it has the mileage is acceptable to me. I only have 4000 miles on it and think it will get better.

I am getting about the same milage as you in my 7.3 but you have a VERY good point. With all the extra raw horsepower and torque you have V's my 7.3 or any powerstroke for that matter, Thats pretty darn good mileage

Thanks for the info guys
