400/800 flash from ford

How do you tell if your truck has the flash or hasn't? Does it go by bulid date or?

Its goes by build date. Anything before September needs the flash. I asked the dealer this when I picked up mine.

Yea but how do you verify that it has it? Can you check the computer on the indash screen?
