Undercover SwingCase

Right now I have a below the rails tool box in my 08. Its pretty full but I could and would like to eliminate alot of the tools and junk that I carry around. I have been looking at the Undercover SwingCases but am not really sure about them. I figure they will go nice with a rolling/locking tonneau cover.

Does anyone have an information or stories or opinions on these?

My dad has a couple of them installed on his truck. From what i can tell they are pretty good for carrying a few items. They seem solid and look like they would hold up for a long time. But this is all second hand. They also look fairly easy to install.

I found those yesterday while looking ofr tonneau covers. If I found the right link they were over $300 each for the 2011 SD's

They are about 200 eAch from most websites

In Motion, I have one of these in my 2011 Super Duty and Love it. Had on in my previous 2010 F150 as well with no issues. I think it holds lots of stuff, is very easy to install and remove if necessary. Paid 200 but for me better and more functional than a 10 dollar rubber maid box.

I just ordered the passanger side box from StreetSideAuto to try it out. If i Like it im going to get the drivers side box as well. They have them for 195 with free shipping.

Do you have the 5th wheel trailer prep?

trailer harness connector in the left side inner top 1/4 panel?

Yes i do. I ordered the passenger side for now. I will look and see if it's going ro work with the plug on the drivers side

I have an aluminum "pork chop" toolbox that I took 1.5" out of the bottom to get clearance for my 5th wheel hitch. Haven't decided if I like using it yet. Looks too inviting to "persons of opportunity"

I will update everyone on my thoughts as soon as i get it. I also ordered an American Roll Cover today as well. Found a really good deal on it couldn't pass it up.
