New 11' 550

I ordered my 11' f-550 crew cab 4x4 chassis with the 6.7 and just found out that the chassis models horsepower is 300 instead of 400 I am trading my 08' f-350 crew cab 4x4 chassis with a 6.4 hoping for better pulling power, hope i'm not dissapointed. Picking the new one up on monday will find out if it pulls better by tuesday after I switch out my work bed. Anyone out there gone from a 6.4 to a 6.7 in a cab and chassis? If so does the 6.7 pull better?

I'm sure the F550 has a lot lower gear ratio. It will probably pull that F350 in half. Congrats on the new one!

My 08' f-350 6.4 has 4:10 gear ratio and the new 11' f-550 6.7 has the same gear ratio, you had a choice of 4:10, 4:30 , and 4:88 the one I found had 4:10 which will be better on mileage.
