Does the F250 diesel 4x4 have hydro-boost or not?
I'm looking for proof or verification of some sort. I know what the order guide says, it says the F250 has vacuum boost brakes, but I think this might be a misprint and/or may only apply to 2wd vehicles. Ford has been known to misprint lots of stuff in their guides, including the famous "37 spline" rear axle from 05-10, which was non-existant.
Has anyone here actually looked under a 2011 F250 4x4 diesel and found it to have no hydro-boost brakes? The guide is quite confusing, it says that on the F250's, if it comes with a diesel, it has the 1.56" power piston. I didn't know a truck could have the 1.56" power piston without hydroboost. Let's discuss this and see if we can either verify it, or bust the myth please. |
