Fuel filter change "WATCH OUT"

Took mine in today for oil and fuel filter change, 9000 miles, guy came back said you want the bad news! Here we go fuel filter on the frame has a large plastic assembly and they broke the cap getting it off, one BIG problem sounds like its an issue because its on back order till after Jan. 2011, told them they better get the whole dang thing, should be here in the morn. I would def let the dealership do it if you change them, you break it you buy it, let them break it and they have to fix it. other than that great truck. Just glad I didnt do it or the local jiffy lube

Wow, it sounds like there are some problems on the new 6.7's. Sorry to hear about that, but thanks for letting us know. At least you are getting your truck back fairly quickly. Any idea why the long backlog? Are they all breaking?

I've seen some post on other websites about the cap breaking. So watch out DIY.
