That is exactly where mine is as well.
A friend of mine has the same truck and he cannot find his either. He thinks they forgot to install it. |

They don't all come with Block Heaters they are an additional ad on...WTH??? why wouldn't you just add them to everyone built?

they dont all have the cord but every motor comes with the block heater element already installed you can pick up the cord from ford for around 60 bucks or so maybe more maybe less but they dont all come stock with the cord

I'm about to go plug mine in now. It's getting cold BRRR!! Also, I think your truck needs a bath. ![]() ![]()

I think it all depends on the state in which the truck was ordered or came from (dealer trade). The northern states have it standard, the other states it is an option. I think this is what I remember from the ordering process.

What state you get it in makes no difference. It's all up to the person who ordered it to begin with. Randy found mine in Washington PA and it does not have the cord. I will get one and put it on just for the sake of doing it however I doubt I will ever plug it in PA. I didn't plug my 6.4L in last year and never had any starting issues. The 6.7L will be even better than the 6.4L was.
