Diesel Mag 2011 shootout

I just read a recap of recent Chevy versus Ford shoot out in Diesel mag for January 2011. Even with Job 2 (400/800), the Chevy beat the SD? I was hoping for the Job 2 to edge out the Chevy in this rematch. I can't understand how this could be? Any thoughts from you hard core diesel guys or technicians?.......

None of those tests mean anything . All biased . I could test them and come up with a completely different answer .

They didn't mention shooting a Chevy commercial, but did say the main driver was an ex-Ford towing guy? I will post the link

"Ford and Chevy were both asked to provide us with a production truck straight off a dealer’s lot. Unfortunately, Ford declined to supply us a vehicle for this test. So, General Motors purchased both 1-tons involved in our 2011 King Of The Hill Shootout from Midwest auto dealers."

Wow, I cant see why the chevy won?

It's kinda comical they left Dodge out of the picture. The cummins 6.7 IMHO, is a great diesel motor, just not quite the hot-rod yet. I have owned all three of the big diesels now and have to say, I've had a great experience with the Dmax, 24v cummins, and now the SD 6.7. Ironically, my worse experience was with a 5.7 Toyota Tundra, which went through a tranny on me after 2000 miles. Crazy stuff.....but still lov'n my SD 6.7!!
