30,100+ miles....

I just broke 30,000 miles...economy seems to be going up, (or its just this flat terrain in Phoenix)..for a job 1 truck, a new engine design... new tranny...it is doing great. I have pulled an 8500 trailer against headwinds, thru mountains, pushed this vehicle determined to find its weak point while under warranty. Hooked up to a 15k fifth wheel, yanked it down the road, so far, it just seems to be getting stronger.

Kinda reminds me of my chipped 7.3, with a lot more goodies!!

I read on another post of yours that you were getting in the high teens to low 20's as far as MPGs? Is this actual hand calcluated or what the DIC is telling you? What about when you were towing the large 5er? I am about 75% sure I'm about to pull the trigger on a '11 F-350 SRW but I wanted to hear some real world mileage numbers on it. I'm sold on the rest of it.

I'll be in the market for a year-end closeout 2011's in the middle of next year...

I guess the only other question is: Is it worth the upgrade to the king ranch or save the money and get the lariat??

If the KR had a 40/20/40 front bench option, I'd jump all over it, BUT with a truck full, (wife and 4 kiddos) I have no choice but XLT or Lariat. (like either are a bad choice)

I love the 40/20/40 bench seat too but I heard they quit offering that option a few years ago......

I'd take the lariat over the xlt because on the electronics....
