Painting grille

I have a 2011 SD Lariat;don't really like the looks of the big chrome grille;does anyone know if it is possible to remove the chrome plating and paint it to match the rest of the vehicle?

The grill is multi-pieced together. I have the outer ring on order to do the exact thing you are wanting to do

Send a message via AIM to Baller1771
you can do it but you have to sand it all down to make sure all the chrome is off and then paint it. I had it done to my bumpers.

Did you order an xl bare ring or another chrome one? I was going to order an xl one but didn't know if its textured or not.

You can order a grill from a KR and it will come ready to paint.
