Takes about 10 seconds. If you look in from the mirror side through the gap between the glass and mirror housing you can see the tab that snaps the lamp housing in.Just use a small screwdriver and it pops right out.New one snaps in.

I don't think they are worth the time or money. I have replaced the l.e.d.'s twice on the drivers side (12,000 miles). The l.e.d. tail lights are early style Super Duty's, you'd think they would have the new style tail lights since they have been out since 2008. To me it makes the truck look dated. The best Recon lights that I have purchased are the l.e.d.'s for inside the bed rail.

Hmmmm that's something to think about. From some of the pictures I've seen the Black LED for the side mirrors look great ..

From a distance and pictures they look good. Not the perfect fit. I'm really considering switching everything back to the original lights.
