Looking For Help and MPG
I'm Thinking about tradeing My 08 CC LB DRW in and getting a 2011 the same way. My 08 has 30,000 miles on it (and it is all stock) But empty 12-13MPG at 60-65 mph Pulling my camper 6.5-7.5MPG wich in unstandable any more. I went from a 7.3 wich was much beter. Love the truck but not the MPG. So was looking for in put on Real MPG empty and pulling. Al so wich rear gear would you go with for 50% pulling and 50% driving. Probly going to talk to ford next week? Will haft to order no one around here has one i like.
Thanks JJ |

Understand, I traded in my 09 precisely because the mileage was consuming my wallet... I put quite a few miles on my truck...filling up every 300 miles, sometimes less, almost put me in therapy. I can get...driving poorly, hot rodding BETTER mileage in my 2011 than babying the 09. I am working in the Phoenix area, and cruising around town I get 19+, no hyperbole. I really don't focus on mileage unless it is...absurdly low, the 09 DEMANDED my attention. I use my truck as a mobile office, pull a 15k 5'er, and am liking it more than my faithful, 20 mpg at 69 mph 1999 F-350 7.3 4x2. I can get 18+ cruising 70+ mpg empty on the highway, in a 4x4, and just got thru loading pictures on my lcd screen.... Great truck...still learning it at almost 30,000 miles.
