Headlights?
Ok, anybody else notice the high beams? Or should I say lack thereof, I think I am better off on low beams with the spotlights..... Besides the HID upgrade anybody else solve this problem? I researched the H13/9008 bulbs and they are apparently not that good and so upgraded wattage is probably not a solution + the wiring could always be an issue.
Any ideas? |

I noticed this as well. I am curious to see what the options are.

Did you check out these...
PIAA I seen them on a Duramax and they are bright. Just not sure what the power requirements are. But I am going to look into them, because my friend who has his already pointed this out and they are not bright at all. |

I have actually decided to go HID : HID Kits, BMW Aftermarket Bumpers & Lighting, DEPO - DDM Tuning
everything I have read about the H13 bulbs we have is they are crap ![]() also heard all the horror stories of melted wiring, lenses and bulb bases etc from higher wattage. So for me the HID seems to be the way to go, will let you know how it goes... the stock candles have got to go!! |

You can add me to the list of horror stories... I installed Street Glows in my '99 Super Duty that roasted the wires! Never again! I have been using the Silver Stars in my GMC and they seem to be fine other than burning out about once a year.
The link you posted is that the exact kit? It said $35... but that cannot be for the entire kit? What is the total cost going to be? And please keep me posted on how this goes, I am very interested. |

there is a kit on the street called a brite box that will actually keep your low beams on when you switch to high beams for this reason.

Check these guys out! I have the HID kit on my bike and they work great!
The best HID conversion kits, HID xenon bulbs, HID ac digital ballasts. |

The high beams do suck!
Are there any adjustment screws??? Seems like if you could aim the bulbs just a little higher they may be ok.. |

IMO...this is the best kit.I have the same kit on my bike and now everytime we ride I have to lead!
Its stays in hi-beam all the time, the bulps has a retractable sleve on them...when you in low-beam mode the sleve is move to the position that the beam is directed to the lower direction and when you are in a hi-beam mode, the sleve retracted back and the bulp is fully expose.Just imagine driving with a very bright and white hi-beam on all the time but without pissing people off I have not order one yet but I will as soon as I figure how to remove all the stuffs to get to the bulps!
